Greeting past and present members,

A reminder that the Nesbitt/Nisbet Society is inviting all past and present members to join us in Houston, Texas for our 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 16-19, 2025.

NASA/Houston AGM Highlights and Important information and dates:

A. The NASA Space Center and the Historic Johnson Space Center Tram Tour will be the main attraction. Make plans to bring the family and join us. Society member Stephen Nesbitt will assist with the tour and will be our quest speaker at the AGM business meeting. Stephen was the Public Affairs Officer for the Johnson Space Center and NASA's chief commentator who described the loss of space shuttle Challenger on January 28, 1986.

B. To join us on the Houston/NASA Space Center Tour you must register. Registration Fee this year is $85.00 per adult and includes:
  • Friday AGM sit-down dinner is $40.00. Note: Dinner for children under 13 is free.
  • NASA Space Center tickets; General Admission & the Historic Mission Control Center Tram Tour is $45.00 per adult.
  • The deadlines for the Society to receive your Registration Form to let us know that you are joining us and your Registration Fee so that Space Center tickets can be purchased is September 19, 2025.

C. We will Stay at the Quality Inn and Suites Seabrook NASA Kemah where we have reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate. View the Quality Inn Booking Details to book your room by phone or online.
  • The cut-off date to book your room and receive the discounted room rate is September 19, 2025. Should you make a reservation and then need to cancel it, the cut-off date for a refund is September 16, 2025.


D. The AGM dinner and business meeting will be held Friday, October 17. During the business meeting, we will conduct important business for the Society.
  • Elect a new President for the 2026-2029 term and a new Treasurer for the 2025-2028 term. Click on Election for full details.
