DNA Project

Tom Nesbitt has been the Societies DNA Program Coordinator since it's inception several years ago. It was Tom that was really driven to find out where his Nesbitt lineage originated and how we were linked to each other through DNA. Tom keeps informed with all of the latest results, and he publishes his articles in the quarterly newsletter for both the UK and North American Branch of the N/N Society. You do not have to be a member of the Society to join this program. But it is a great way to find out who you are connected or related to. We do ask that no checks or money orders be given or written out to a member of the Society personally. All monies should be made out to the Nesbitt/Nisbet Society and sent to our Treasurer, Nick Nesbitt 154 Hanby Avenue, Westerville, OH 43081 or go the link below and make payment directly to Family DNA by using your debit or credit card. Please note in the memo section of the check or money order to write DNA Program. So that the proper department head gets the reimburstment.

All DNA testing is done in conjunction with the University of Arizona and Family Tree DNA.
